Privacy
OmniTools does not have accounts. It does not ask for your name, and it does not keep a history of the files you open.
Files and text
Tools that say they run in the browser are written so the file or text is processed on your device and is not uploaded by that tool. You can confirm this in the browser’s network panel: processing a file should not send the file to OmniTools.
Requests a tool may make
- Currency conversion can request a cached table of exchange rates. The amount you type is not part of that request.
- HEIC conversion downloads a decoder from jsDelivr the first time you use it.
- Some PDF tools download PDF.js from jsDelivr so they can draw pages. The PDF itself is not sent there.
Analytics
This site uses PostHog, hosted in the US, for product analytics, web analytics and session replay. PostHog receives the page you open, the tool you use, button clicks, a download’s file type and size, and a recording of the interface. It does not receive an account, because there are no accounts.
Session replay masks every input, including passwords, tokens and pasted text. It also masks text areas, code and preformatted results, and it does not record file pickers, canvases or images. File bytes are not sent to PostHog. A search is recorded only when it is a short tool name.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is included only when that token is configured at build time. The rate service does not store the amounts you convert, and the IP endpoint, which is not linked from these pages, is written not to log addresses.
